How To Eradicate Bed Bugs In Your Bed

Kill bed bugs in your mattress, then stop them from spreading all over the home.

The bugs are harmful little creatures that can bite and feed on your flesh whilst you sleep.

If you have been on a cheap vacation, then the chances are that you have brought this home either on clothing or luggage.

Once these tiny creatures start to grow it can be difficult to remove.

If you want peace of mind, then you have to learn to do this over the next few months.

To begin with, you want to be sure of not using very strong bug killer because they could do you even more harm than the bedbugs by leaving you with long-term allergies.

Going to a pest controller is a short term solution. It is very expensive and will not destroy the nests completely.

Start by buying several rolls of black plastic bags, because you will need to triple bag everything.

Remove all the bed linen, duvet cover and carefully put them in the black bags and seal them with tape.

Remove bug mattress from the bed, wrap in a large polythene wrapper. Take it outside to the garden and remove the wrapper and let it lie in the sun.

When you are in the process of stripping your bed make sure of using the black bags so you do not drop any bugs along the way in the rest of the house.

Take all the towels, clothes and outer garments and fold them and put them in the bags and seal them. Making the bags airtight means the bugs will suffocate in the double bags.

If you have a lot of clothes then buy plenty of disinfectant or clothes bleach from the pharmacist.

Buy 10 bottles; they are so cheap sometimes you can get two for the price of one.

Then take all laundry to the launderette as their washing machines are huge, and the water will circulate freely.

Throw away the used bags in case there are any bugs left inside. Put all the laundry in the washer and add at two bottles of disinfectant and wash on boil wash.

Dry you clothes twice in the dryer on very high heat. This will kill all bugs permanently.

This will kill all the infestation, and then fold them neatly and put them in new black plastic bags, in-case there are any nasty crawlies lurking in the old bags.

Buy numerous can of wasp killer, slug and ant killing powder.

Safely spray the mattress from a distance. Make sure that all the edges are clean as that is where the bugs infest the most.

Then thoroughly clean the whole of the bedroom, especially the tops of light switches, windows, doors and skirting boards.

Steam cleanse your carpet, and spread a thin layer of ant powder all along the carpet, in case of any larvae.
